Oceaneering AGV Systems develops, produces, and markets Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGVs). Our products service industries including Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Entertainment, Electronics and Warehousing. Project Manager

full-time

The Project Manager will be responsible for the realization of projects within the agreed time, budget and quality for international customers the world over. The Project Manager is in charge of the distribution of tasks within the various disciplines such as System Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quality, Software Engineering, Manufacturing and Installation guided by the project plan.

Functions

ESSENTIAL

  • Responsible for the entire programs for Key customer(s) in relation to quality, schedule and budget
  • Ability to manage multiple large scale projects at the same time
  • Manage the customer relation and setting the expectations for the customer
  • Primary Point of contact for the customer for the duration of the project;
  • Coaching and motivating other project team members;
  • Monitoring progress with the process owners;
  • Chairing project meetings and presentations with customers;
  • Monitor and maintain the project scope;
  • Identifying and negotiating on additional work;
  • Responsible for risk analysis and final evaluation of projects;
  • Set clear expectations with project team by defining project tasks and resource requirements;
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project;
  • Conduct full review of project scope, goals and deliverables;
  • Develop full scale project plans to include a project safety plan, project quality plan and risk management plan;
  • Manage ex procurements to include subcontract/vendor management.

  • Project team.

 

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to Manager of Programs, OASYS

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering, Economics or Logistics/Technical related.
  • Minimum 10 years of PM experience.
  • Knowledge of logistics, Material Handling and industrial processes;
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must have flexibility, responsiveness, and good judgment.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management software.
  • Excellent command of Dutch, English and German, French spoken and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.

 

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
  • Work surface is stable (flat)
  • Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people
  • Job requires to travel on a need by need basis to customers and suppliers internationally
